What Is a Catering Client Portal?
A catering client portal gives clients a secure web view of their CaterCamp events, proposals, invoices, and payment links. Professional and Business add BEO and final-count approvals, change requests, messaging, and shared file links; structured dietary submissions remain available for food-safety workflows.
How the Catering Client Portal Works
From invitation to post-event — five steps to a premium client experience.
Invite the Client
The client requests a time-limited magic link using the email stored on their CaterCamp client record. No password or app installation is required.
Share Proposals & Menus
The portal lists the client's events, proposals, and invoices. Proposal and invoice links open the relevant secure review, acceptance, or payment page.
Sign & Pay
Clients can open a proposal to provide signed acceptance and open an invoice to use the Stripe or PayPal payment method configured by the caterer.
Collaborate on Details
Professional and Business clients can request event changes, message the caterer, share cloud-file links, approve BEO revisions and final guest counts, and submit dietary requirements.
Post-Event Access
Clients retain access to the event, proposal and invoice records associated with their email while the caterer's workspace remains active.
