Proposals, E-Signatures & Contracts

Send branded proposals clients can approve and sign online, then generate a certificate of acceptance.

Proposals are how you turn interest into a signed commitment. CaterCamp proposals are branded, itemized, and can be approved and signed entirely online.

Creating a proposal

From the Proposals page, click New Proposal. Add line items (often pulled from your menus), set quantities and prices, and the total calculates automatically. Save it as a draft until you're ready.

Sending for approval

When you send a proposal, CaterCamp opens an editable email preview so you can review and tweak the message before it goes out. The client receives a link to a clean, mobile-friendly proposal page β€” no login required.

You can customize the default email wording under Settings β†’ Email Templates.

Approval and e-signature

On the proposal page, the client can:

  1. Review every line item and the total.
  2. Enter their initials and draw a signature.
  3. Approve the proposal.

Once approved, the status updates in your dashboard and a Certificate of Acceptance is generated β€” a printable record of who approved what and when.

Editing after sending

Need to make a change? Use the Edit option on any proposal to update line items or details, then re-send if needed. The status badges (Draft, Sent, Approved) always tell you where each proposal stands.

Next: bill the client in Invoices & payments.
