Capturing Leads with Your Inquiry Form

Every CaterCamp organization gets a public inquiry form ("Request a Quote"). When someone submits it, CaterCamp automatically creates a lead (and a client) and emails you instantly — no copy-pasting from your inbox.

Find your form

Go to Settings → Lead Capture. There you'll find:

• A shareable link like https://catercamp.com/inquiry/your-business
• An embed snippet to drop the form into your own website

Share the link directly, link it to a "Request a Quote" button, or paste the embed code into your site.

Customize the form

The Lead Capture tab includes a full form builder. You can:

• Edit the copy — headline, intro text, the submit button label, and the success message shown after someone submits.
• Pick an accent color to match your brand.
• Toggle fields on or off — for example, hide "Estimated budget" if you'd rather discuss pricing later.
• Mark fields required so you always get the details you need.
• Rename fields and edit placeholders to fit your voice.
• Reorder fields with the up/down arrows.
• Add custom questions — short text, paragraph, or dropdown. Answers to custom questions are saved on the lead's notes.

Name and email are always collected so every lead is usable. Click Save changes when you're done — your public form updates immediately.

Remove CaterCamp branding

Free trials and unpaid accounts show a small "Powered by CaterCamp" badge on the public form. On any paid plan, the badge is removed automatically so your form shows only your branding.

What happens on submit

1. A new client is created (or matched to an existing one by email — we never create duplicates).
2. A new lead is added to the Inquiry column of your pipeline.
3. You get an email notification with the details, so you can follow up fast.
